The IDA8 RU switching redundancy units provide the high level of redundancy and acting as a Primary/Secondary switching device for IDA8C controller and IDA8SAB slave unit. RU-CTL device is a device supplied with full-redundancy for audio processor.

The RU-CTL provides with 8 redudant contact outputs and 8 redudant EVAC inputs for the Primary IDA8C controller and the Secondary IDA8C controller.

The RU-CTL is in charge of switching the primary IDA8C and the secondary IDA8C processor and is also capable to monitor the status of processor. If the primary processor breaks down, the RU-CTL will automatically detect and all signal including from the peripherals will switch to the secondary processor.

The IDA8 RU switching redundancy units provide the high level of redundancy and acting as a Primary/Secondary switching device for IDA8C controller and IDA8SAB slave unit. RU-CTL device is a device supplied with full-redundancy for audio processor.

 

 

 

The RU-CTL provides with 8 redudant contact outputs and 8 redudant EVAC inputs for the Primary IDA8C controller and the Secondary IDA8C controller.
